National Parks

Austalia’s top end and the tropical northern tetritory are home to more than 20 wonderful national parks. There are Kakudu, Litchfield, Gregory, Katherine Gorge and Nitmiluk. Kakadu national park was added to the world list of World Heritage. It reaches more than 100 kilometers from North to South and 100 kilometres from East to West.

The land itself is believed to be more than two billion year old and 20,000 square kilometres. It shelters an amazing collection of flora and fauna, from sinister crocodiles to beautiful waterlillies. Kakadu houses more than 1,600 species of plants, 60 species of mamals, 290 species of birds, 120 species of reptiles, 25 frogs and 55 fish. Lots of animals are rare and exist only in this country.
