Christmas in Australia

At Christmas, the Australians celebrate the Christ’s birth by gathering with their families, by offering presents to them, to the poor persons too...

The Australians are very generous at that time of the year.

The week before Christmas, they improvise Christmas songs, the children see Father Christmas. On  25th December, everybody gives presents to the others around the Christmas tree. Then, they eat a big Christmas breakfast followed by a dive into the sea.

At lunch, they eat turkey, seafood, a Christmas pudding, some cakes...

In Australia, Father Christmas takes part in a surfing competition on Christmas’ day : all the competitors get dressed as Father Christmas.
