Vanessa: OK. You can start.
When did you start being interested in music?
Vanessa: I'm not sure but I suppose I was about two years old.
It's very young to start at this age!
Vanessa: Yes and I was interested in music and art. There were my favourite hobbies.
Er...So did you play an instrument?
Vanessa: Yes. When I was two years old, I was able to play the piano and my mother was my first teacher.
OK. When did you write your first song?
Vanessa: I think I was eight years old.
What about classical dance?
Vanessa: I was keen on classical dance at nine years. I was accepted in the Ballet school at New York.
And after that?
Vanessa: At seventeen years old, I began to write songs again.
But what about school...Er...your studies?
Vanessa: Sometimes, I learned but I was terribly keen on playing piano so I missed school.
Have you ever imagined to become singer?
Vanessa: No, never.
What did you do before becoming a star?
Vanessa: I was a waitress in a restaurant and one year later, I was at A&M records.
And where are you now?
Vanessa: I'm at university of Columbia and I dance. It's a hobby not my passion which is singing and playing the piano.
