The story

The film takes place in the United States of America, in Cape Canaveral where there is the NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), NASA people have discovered an asteroïd as big as Texas which is heading for the Earth. So, they've decided to blow it up from the inside but they must dig a hole, put the bomb in the hole and the asteroïd will blow up. NASA people have gone into the most famous derrick in the U.S.A. to be able to dig a hole on the asteroïd. At the beginning, the boss (Bruce Willis) doesn't wan't to but he has finally accepted.
At the same time, The boss's girl loved a person of the boss's team but he must go to the asteroïd. The boss and his team have arrived on the asteroïd with two shuttles but one has blown up. The second has dug a hole and come back to the Earth. Everybody on the Earth has seen the asteroïd blow up. The boss and his team have won a lot of money and become famous in America.

My choice

I've chosen this film because it's a science-fiction film and I like it. There is a lot of action and suspense. An asteroid is a natural disaster and I like to see it on TV but I would hate a natural disaster to happen on the Earth. In this film we don't know if the asteroid will blow up or if it will fall on the Earth and if the boss and his team will be dead or if they will come back on the Earth. It's very well!
