Billy Elliot

The story

My favourite Anglo-saxon film is Billy Elliot. It was directed by Stephen Daldry. This film is about a boy, Billy who is practising boxing but, one day, a school dance arrived in a part of the boxing room. Billy began to be interested in dancing and took off his boxing gloves to put ballet shoes on. When his boxing coach realised Billy wasn't coming his lessons, he told Billy's father about it. When he discovered he was practising dancing, he wanted Billy to stay with his grand mother. But Billy went on dancing secretly. His dancing said to him he was going to have an audition. A few days later, his father finally toto let Billy go to London for his audition. Finally, Billy became an artist and his father was happy for his son.

My choice

I've chosen this film because I love dancing and I think Billy really wants to become a dancer because even his father can't stop him from dancing. So I think he's very keen on dancing. It's a good film about dancing.
