1. DOGS (Emmanuelle)
I have spoken about dogs and especially my dog. There are aproximately 200 races of dogs in the world. For all the dogs there are 10 groups. My dog (photo 1), a greyhound, is in the 10th. This group has got all the greyhounds. My dog is a Barzoï! She’s a tall dog. She is Riaba Homierovitch Boldareff Chino (I have written the complete name!!!).
I have got a second dog but I can’t do dog shows because he isn’t a pure breed! But he’s very friendly!!
All the dog shows are really difficult because all the judges are really strict!! And it’s really difficult but you can win a lot of beautiful cups!!
To be in a dog show you must have a pure breed dog and a confirmation! It’s a sort of test for your dog to see if he hasn’t got any problems!!
Then you must make your dog really beautiful with shampoo, a lot of brushing and it’s really difficult to be pleasant for the judges!!
There is a second sport where the dog and the master are a good team!! It’s called "agility"!
It’s a race with different hurdles and the dog must jump over them. The master must run whith the dog and there must be a very good complicity between the dog and the master. The advantage with "agility" is you don’t need a pure breed dog and it is really good if you don't want to put a lot of money in a dog.
All the dogs are really friendly and as we say the dog is the best friend in the world but if you aren’t very good master, well you shouldn’t have a dog!
2. CATS (Ingrid)
The cat is the 2nd pet of the French families. I'm going to speak about three sorts of cats:
The first cat is the Chartreux. He lived in the monasteries with the monks and on the mountains. He has got a blue and grey fur. The females are more independent than the male and they have more character. He likes children and he is lazy.
The Abyssin is an oriental cat. He lives in Arabia. His fur is beige. He is like the Sphinx of Egypt. His baby is likes a squirrel. He has got big ears and very big eyes.
The third cat is the maincoon, he has got big ears and a big and thick tail. It’s the heaviest cat in the world; it's American, it’s a dangerous predator for the rabbit and the mouse.
