History :
- Walt Disney was born on December 5,1901 in Chicago; his father was Elias Disney, and his mother Flora. Walt was one of five children, four boys and a girl.
- Walt Disney's dream of clean and organized amusement park came true as Disneyland Park opened in 1955. Walt Disney is a legend and his name represents: imagination, optimism, creation.
The different parks :
- Disneyland Resort Paris is situated in France and is one of the emblems of Europe. It opened in 1992 and each year 12.000.000 persons come to the park.
There are lots of rides in the park and the decorations are very beautiful.
Some numbers each year:
-400.000 litres of ices
-2.000.000 litres of mineral water.
-6.000.000 of viennoiseries.
-3.000 tons of fresh fruit.
-30.000.000 articles are sold.
- Disney-MGM Studio is the first park of Disney on the topic of the cinema. It opened on may 1, 1989 in Walt Disney World of Florida. This Park is the answer of Disney to the announcement of Universal to open in Orlando, Universal Studios Florida.
- Typhoon Lagoon is a park in Walt Disney World. It opened on June 1, 1989 and accommodates one of the largest swimming pools in the world.
- Epcot is the name of a topic park about Walt Disney World. The principle is the "Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow". The park opened on October 1, 1982.
- There are two other parks at Tokyo and Hong-Kong : It's in the last park which opened.
The personal relation with the park :
- Thomas: I've already visited Disneyland Resort Paris. I went there seven times. The last time, I went to the park was for Christmas, and I've seen the parade. What I enjoy in Disney, is the decoration and the good welcome. I'd like to visit Disney World in Florida but the next time, I will go to Disneyland Paris and Disney Studio in the same day.
- Marine: Like Thomas, I've already visited Disneyland Resort Paris seven time and the last one was last week-end. The time I prefer is Christmas with a fantastic parade. What I like in the park is the atmosphere and the rides like Space Mountain for example. I'd like to visit Disney World and especially Typhoon Lagoon if it is summer but I don't know if I will go there one day because it's in Florida and it's expensive.
