The « Olympique Lyonnais » is a French football club created on August 3rd, 1950 by Doctor Trillat, M. Groslevi, M. Vitalis, M. Marceau, M. Carrel, M. Daurensan and M. Maillet.
This club is in Lyon in France. Its colours are blue and red. The president has been Jean-Michel Aulas since June 1987 and the coach has been Gérard Houllier since May 29th, 2005

Sylvain Wiltord was born on the tenth of May, 1974 at Neuilly-sur-Marne. He signed his first football licence in his native town before joining the FC Joinville-le-Pont. After the World Cup in 1998, he started with les Girondins de Bordeaux. During the first 6 matches, he scored 6 goals. He had the title of Champion de France and the best scorer of Championship with 22 goals. In 2005, he became French champion with the OL.
Gregory Coupet was born in Puy-en-Velay on December 31st 1972. He started his career during the season 93-94 at Saint-Etienne. He has been in Lyon since the season 96-97. He has got 18 selections in the French team. His first cap was in Australia in Dregu on June 1st 2001 where France won 1-0. He was the winner of Confederations cup in 2001 and 2003 with the French team. He won the Championship in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 with Lyon. Also, he won the league Cup with the same club.
